{Tutorial} Using Benjamin Moore’s Virtual Fan Deck

Yesterday I shared with you my new favorite Paint Visualizer Tool that can help you virtually see and play with different paint colors BEFORE making the investment and spending endless hours painting.  Another helpful tool that I often use when looking through and selecting colors, is the Benjamin Moore Virtual Fan Deck.  Once downloaded, you can flip through thousands of paint colors within seconds.

Here’s a Step by Step ~

1. First, head to Benjamin Moore Virtual Fan Deck

2. Click: Download the Virtual Fan Deck to your computer

3. Click: Install Now

4. Follow the remaining steps to download and then you will have the Virtual Fan Deck on your home page.  This is what it looks like (this is a cropped screen shot of my home page).5. You’re ready to play with the paint colors!  When you open the Virtual Fan Deck, this is what it’ll look like (another cropped screen shot from my personal computers homepage).

You have the option of choosing “Names” or “Numbers” to see the colors labeled by name or color number.

You have the option of seeing “5 Chips” or “1 Chip”.  And you can search for colors in three ways:  Name (Soft Shell), Number (015), Color family (red).

There are 1000s of colors to choose from throughout the 6 Paint Collections that Benjamin Moore offers.

I love the Virtual Fan Deck and I hope you found this tutorial helpful! Do you have a paint project that you’re starting in the near future?  Would you find this tool helpful?

I’m still deciding what color to do the kids bathroom ~ stay tuned!
