Spring is finally peaking through. It’s the perfect time of year to open up the windows, let the fresh air in, and rid the winter decor for some fresh, new, colorful accents.
We can finally come out of hibernation, step outside the front door, and actually spend time looking at our homes instead of darting directly from the indoors to the car in 2.8 seconds to avoid the frigid cold (well maybe that’s just me – hehe).
The entry to a home sets the tone for what’s to come indoors. What’s created and displayed on the front door, porch, and entryway make the first impression not only for visitors, but also for us – the owner of the home. A happy and inviting front entry makes for a welcoming return home time and time again.
As we spring into Spring, let’s be inspired by these fabulous and striking Spring porches, doors, and entryways…
Perfect Porches
Bright and cheerful colors mixed with an eclectic style of furniture create for a pleasant porch entry.
Front Porch gorgeousness filled with greenery, charm, and a darling little girl playfully enjoying the outdoors.
Soft, quiet colors of sage and creams fill this beautifully inviting porch, while a deep purple topiary style flower pot anchors the sides of the front entry door.
A few bold colors makes for a fun and unexpected front porch. Bright hues of blues and shades of purples fills this inviting porch.
What a fun entry porch. Who wouldn’t love coming home everyday?! This space is filled with colorful flowers and a tall tiered plant shelf perfect for various sized pots and outdoor accents.
Rocking chairs on a front porch create a comfortable and inviting spot to sit, scope, and relax.
A perfect pansy filled Spring porch.
Darling Doors & Entries
The variation of size and color greenery create a beautiful entryway to this home.
This looks like a entryway that I’d love to step foot on (and never leave). The home itself looks architecturally stimulating, and the adorable entry surrounded by greenery further enhances it’s charm. The number pillows are super cute as well. What a great alternative to typical house numbers.
Large potted flowers always create a gorgeous statement as you enter a home. And I adore this 3/4 glass front door. I’m actually looking into similar styles for my front door.
What a beautiful soft and serene entryway. The plum colored door is so unique. Would you paint your front door a color like that?
Colorful potted flowers and greenery surround charming turquoise wicker chairs at the entry of this home.
Slightly ornate for my taste, but something about this entryway is so striking and inviting. It’s probably my love for yellow which is incredibly dynamic on the chair and table.
A few accents flanking the door can be just enough to create an inviting Spring outdoor vignette. This porch is filled with charming flowers and an adorable bright blue chair.
Whimsical Spring Wreaths
How fun is it to add a new wreath for a new season?! To enhance a front entry, a beautiful, whimsical, or totally unique and fun wreath can enhance and accentuate the the aesthetic and style of your home.
A moss and burlap Spring wreath makes for an eye popping accent on a crisp white door
Adorable and unique garden hose Spring wreath
Simple grapevine wreath accented with flowers & house numbers
A grapevine wreath filled with soft pink faux flowers is so striking against a dark colored door.

O, that’s mine – hehe. I never get tired of this forsythia wreath.
How do you decorate your front entry for Spring?
I’m working on an awesome DIY project for our front porch, which I’ll be sharing next week – can’t wait! Thankfully the flowers are starting to bud so pretty pictures can soon be taken. Until then, I’ll keep drooling over last year’s Spring porch.
Happy Spring!

What an inspiring post! I really love the colorful painted pieces even the black bench was so nice. I’m a big fan of anything forsythia too. Your wreath is simply wonderful. I think I want to try making that cute garden hose wreath. I’m working on a garage redo mainly to catch all the kiddos stuff and a garden hose wreath would look so cool on the door going into the house.
Thanks for the inspiration.
SO happy to have inspired you with this post Therese! I love forsythia so much too which is why it’s my go-to Spring and Summer wreath.

Thanks for including me Jenna!
Jenna….thanks so much for featuring our porch! What a great roundup,,,,love them all.
Very nice! I like a little bit from each one!
I was interested to see alot of use of outdoor carpets. I have a concrete block entry that needs some sort of over-haul and I was considering staining- this may be a good alternative.
Do you know more about outdoor carpets? hard to maintain, keep clean? Are they supposed to be placed outside main traffic?
This roundup has me so ready for spring! Fabulous compilation, Jenna! And thank you for including my moss wreath!
Love your wreath Michele. So happy you found inspiration in this post! xo Jenna
